Entirely hand-painted, its colors faithfully reproduce the graphic charter of the album L'Oreille cassée.

 

Intended to maintain suspense, Hergé's drawing heralded the return of the young hero and his faithful companion from faraway China, the land of his new friend Chang. Hergé also published the series Jo, Zette et Jocko and Quick et Flupke.

 

Moulinsart is a company created to manage the rights to Hergé's work. After belonging for a time to Canal+, Nick Rodwell, Fanny Hergé's husband, now runs the company. Tchang's daughter also works for the company.
